I'm working full time on illustrations right now. I don't make a lot of money but I love it soo much. There is so many things that I can't show you on DA. That's why you don't see a lot of Deviations from me.

Yesterday I was looking at the pages of my latest Imagine Fx wondering what it would be like if my work was showing in this magazine. Then I turn the page and OMG!!! I'M ONE OF THE ARTIST OF THE MONTH (august)!!! I was completely speechless. That means a lot to me, what a great feeling!

I just want to say thank you everyone! Always pleased to know that my art is appreciated.

I've been with DA for 5 years now. It was suposed to be temporary but for some reasons, I stayed. I always wanted to have my own place on the web and this is what i'm doing right now, making my own website. DA is a cool place but it too complicated for someone who is not familliar with it. I remember when I first saw a DA pages from another artist, I was completely lost. Then it became some sort of a popularity race but then I changed my mind. I needed to get some critics but it never worked.
Finally I realised that I was the best critic and so as my closest friends and brother are the best critics ever.
My website will be both in french and in english and I hope you will enjoy it.

It's been a long time since I wrote something. I decided to stop trying being ''popular'' in order to get some comments or critics. It's just a waste of time. I also decided to let go Concept art, I just can't spend this much time on my computer. Beside, my eyes are in a verry bad shape, too much computer... I'm still doing illustrations for kids book but it's not enought. I need more jobs. And fot that, I need a new Curiculum Vitae with a new design. But I just suck at design I need inspirations

What I like about this project is that you can see the progression that I make throughout the books.

I'm still working on Lafontaine's fable vol. 2. I can't show you all of my work but I'm trying to make two per day. There's gonna be a total of 120 approx. for this volume so i'm verry busy these days.

This is a review on a figurine I just got. I coudn't submit it into my gallery because it's not my work, I didn't make it. I just wanted to make a review and DA is the only place I can make it.

And I thought it was so brilliant that I decided to get one. Cats are designed for hunt, not sleeping and eat all day long. Even though my cats are old, they need exercise and stimulation. They are both female, one is thirteen and the other one is 11 years old. The oldest one already know how to use it but the other one is still looking up for me to give her foods (just like she did for the last 11 years). She is a spoiled cat so that's why it's hard to change her.

This thing was designed for treating cat obesity and mental health problem. My cats doesn't have these problem, but anything that can make them happier is good enought for me. Even my dog has his own special bowl.

Just to let you know that i'm not dead, i'm just taking a break. I didn't wanted to but my body told me to take a break by giving me a migraine. I have a lot of work to do but now I just can't do any illustration that I like. So today I will probably draw a lil' portrait with my old pencils just like I did when I started drawing portraits. I don't need a lot of brain to do that and it will keep me away from my computer.

I'm sorry for those who are waiting for their illustrations but when I feel that I cannot give my 100% I prefer to stop.

Meanwhile I tried to resuscitate an old VCR. Why? Because it's not just any VCR, it's the first VCR that was sold in america.

The model came out in 1977 but this one was made in 1980. I had to remove 29 years of dust in order to make it work. The sound was just horrible but with some help from an electronic technician I managed to make it work and now it's almost like a brand new. It still making a lil' squeaky noise though.People are asking me why didn't I just by a new VCR (I already have one by the way)? Some people like to listen to old vinyl with an old turntable. Watching Star Wars on a VCR that is almost as old as the movie for me is priceless.

I deleted tons of deviations because I have too many. And I decided to protect my stuff by making them too small to use or by using the DA watermark. It's ugly but I just don't want to see my stuff stolen again. I also scraped some of my latest deviations because I decided to show my illustrations only when the books will come out. That way I will also protect the authors from getting their idea stolen. It didn't happend yet but because of what happend to me lately, I don't want anyone else to suffer from this. I was extremely lucky that the guy who stole from me decided to remove my stuff. And everyone here who is reading this should take a look at his gallery on e-bay right here: [link] He stole a lot of other deviants.

So from now on, my gallery will be extremely unactive. But that doesn't mean that i'm not drawing everyday. I'm curently working on a kid book about finding happyness. It will come out in january 2010. I will only upload my fables illustrations.
