A verry kind person on DA who had the chance to meet Tim himself, sent my poster to him. Apparently he really liked it.

I'm so happy right now!

This has started as a joke. I just can't remember how my friend came to speak about smurf with a Tim Burton style but when my brother said: ''and Gargamel would be played by Christopher Lee!! '''
I just couldn't stop laughing. And I knew from this moment that I just had to do it.

This would make a much better movie compared to the current Smurfs movie..I hated how they makes it too child whimsical.Anyway fantastic illustration

why. dear god why didn't hollywood follow this story rather than the failed abortion they mass produced and are planning to repeat 2 more times. i loved surfs as a kid, but my childhood officially died....when they went to new york city.
